The fabulous Lambrini Girls have dropped new single 'Boys In the Band' which takes on abuse as part of the music scene - something that needs to be brought out in to the open and eradicated ASAP. Musically, this is typically raw and uncompromising with a tribal, bass driven churn underlying the directly delivered vocals which don't blink or flinch. This reminds me of the first time I witnessed the live show of We Rock Like Girls Don't (now known as Deux Furieuses) when I came away feeling baptised in new understanding but I suspect there will be parallels drawn with IDLES as well which, when you combine those two reference points, makes for a powerful prospect. Also, watch the video for the trigger warning/intro speech alone, it is sobering stuff.
