So, IDLES are back. The Bristol noiseniks-par-excellence have dropped new single 'Dancer' ahead of their highly anticipated new album 'TANGK' so you'd better finish your beer and listen up. Featuring Nancy Whang and James Murphy from LCD Soundsystem on backing vocals, this track sets about creating an ominous tone with the monotonous bass thrum and drum thud setting the tone. The vocals of Joe Talbot are spat out with trademark venom but there is a playfulness in the guitars which almost skip through the song creating the perfect energy. Oh, and there's an absolutely brilliant accompanying video which is a lot of fun but also superbly primal and that's what dancing is all about, isn't it?
