The second half of UPSAHL's 'The PHX Tapes' has dropped and we get two more aggressively brilliant tracks to feast on ahead of her European jaunt this summer. The first of the two, 'Wet White Tee Shirt', takes the dark club energy of DeadMau5, the unapologetically confident vibe of LMFAO and then layers on UPSAHL's unmistakable dead-eyed vocal. As always, there's more to this than just the song and the video of our heroine taking all the attention in a back yard paddling pool distracts from the heft of the lyrics like "come and cure my depression". 'Pretty Sick Mind' has a more urgent and chaotic vibe like a wrestle between UPSAHL's pop and rock personalities playing out in a club. She's only gone and done it again, more great music.
