Talented solo artist CHVRLI BLVCK is back with new single 'Pathetic Paradise' and it's a great jumping off point if you're new to this particular artist. A brooding chug of guitars and vocals delivered through clenched teeth give this a sense of pent up energy that explodes in to the chorus with a gritty grunge-rock energy. There are elements of early Arctic Monkeys, Bush and a hint of Mansun at their hardest all mixed in to a track that is as much style as it is substance.
