Dominican-Italian singer Yendry returns with the emotionally fuelled single 'La Puerta', inspired by the loss of her grandfather. Literally translated as 'the door', this song is understandably somber as it deals with loss and grief, soothed only by Yendry's sumptuous vocal that is as hypnotic as it is beguiling. There is a theory that grief is just left-over love that doesn't have anywhere to go and no matter what language you speak you can feel that in this song in the vocals, the warm guitar and lush strings. If you've ever felt loss then this one will resonate but even if you haven't, you'll be better of for letting this one wash over you.
