There is something instantly arresting about Miya Folick and I don't know if its the music or her incredible poise that grabbed my attention but either way I'm glad my attention was grabbed. 'So Clear' is the new single from the Californian and it sounds exactly like the kind of tune they would use at the end of a remake of the Breakfast Club. This track is crammed full of 80s callbacks, uplifting melodies and breathy vocals that make you want to leap in to the air in the hope that you'll be captured in a euphoric freeze-frame for the rest of your life. Pure, poised and perfect pop.
