TWO WAYS HOME - SINGLE REVIEW

Two Ways Home - Signals In The Smoke

Release Date: Out Now

A country duo inspired by Nashville is nothing new but when one of them is from Vienna and the other from Gloucester, well, you'd be dead inside if you weren't just a little intrigued. Two Ways Home are using that element of uniqueness to make a name for themselves in the country music world and, on the basis of this new single, they are no novelty act. 'Signals in the Smoke' starts with sweet male/female vocal harmonies that evokes the peaty burn of a good whisky before the familiar acoustic guitar strum and electric twang joins in with a gently stomping beat. There's genuine heart to this track (essential for a good country song) and brilliant melodies delivered with lush harmonies so enjoy the tune but I think you can safely expect more from these two.
