Cornish acoustic roots duo Change the Letter are back with their first release in over a year just in time for summer. 'Run & Hide' has a lazy, summery strum to it and speaks of lost love and missed opportunities in the sunny backstreets of Cornwall. The vocals run between Springsteen and Nutini with a gravelly honesty that is somehow comforting and if I had the spare cash I would definitely have paid for a string section to make the end of the song swell for them. As it is, this is a pure and simple song which is a rarity these days and something to be savoured.
