This is the debut release from Bobbi Lu (aka Lucy Ryan) and if subdued and slightly trippy stuff is your bag then keep reading. 'Metapwhore' bubbles in to life with a sense of unblinking calm that is ever so slightly unnerving but as the rippling synths build up and the vocals layer on top of each other the shadows slip away to reveal Bobbi Lu in all her neon magnificence. Elements of Radiohead, Zoe Johnston and a lost 80s electronica theme to a futuristic film that never got made all mingle brilliantly to keep your head spinning until you don't want it to stop.
