Unrequited love has turned into messages that don't get replies but the sentiment is still the same and it's still a rich seam of inspiration for song-writing. Bexx is mining that seam on new single 'Stupid' which cuts to the chase over the top of a punchy alt-pop beat and perky melodies that are part Katy Perry and part K.Flay in all the right place. "I hate your stupid face" she sings with a mix of petulance. revenge and closure. She finishes off with "I hate this song cause it's about you" and that feels like taking things full circle in a healthy way.
