The Busketeers - Start Livin'

Plymouth based multi-instrumentalists the Busketeers are about to release an album of new material but ahead of that comes this first near single for quite some time. 'Start Livin'' has a classically surfy vibe underpinned by a gently skanking reggae rhythm that feels like Jack Johnson jamming with a bunch of pals in a beach shack while the sun goes down and a bonfire gets lit so the party can groove on. The mix of pinging and sliding guitars, rolling bass notes and a laid back beat make me want to pour myself a little (or large) rum and switch my phone on to airplane mode. Perfect timing to go on your summer vibes playlist.
