Still blinking in the light after stepping out from behind the behemoth that is Frank Turner, the Sleeping Souls release their second single in the shape of new song 'Caught Up In the Scrape'. This is a searing and driving beast of a song with more than a hint of Shihad about it as the guitars snarl and slobber in retaliation to the the chain of drums pulling at their neck. With the screaming vocals and intense energy, this is the sound of a stadium ready band which is unusual on their second single but that's what you get when you've spent so much time on tour playing in actual stadiums. There's a debut album due out later this year and, based on this, I am very, very excited.
