SUEP - SINGLE REVIEW

SUEP - Just A Job

Release Date: Out Now

A little Lo-Fi indie goodness for you now from SUEP in the shape of new single 'Just A Job' which is, well, it's equal parts bleakly beige and brilliantly observed songwriting. A plodding keyboard melody and steady beat set the scene of mundane routines before the twin vocals blend together in effortless harmony creating a sound that is part B52s (if they were from Slough) and part the Fall in their less manic moments. This is the kind of track that could soundtrack a montage of mundanity in an indie film that proves the turning point for some kid to break out of his dead end, small-town existence.
