M(H)AOL - SINGLE REVIEW

M(h)aol - Therapy (TULLE Collective)

Release Date: Out Now

M(h)aol were one of my favourite finds of 2022 so I'm delighted that they're continuing their great form in to 2023 with an album on the way in February and this new single to keep us interested. 'Therapy' tackles the issue of people being the reason we end up in therapy in the first place but it does it, in classic M(h)aol style, set to gut punch drums and the kind of guitar that drinks neat vodka from a bottle for breakfast. The swaggering and snarling vocals manage to bring all this chaos together in to something approaching choreography and, if you let yourself, you can caught up in the maelstrom for a few glorious minutes.
