Joseph are a trio of sisters who are completely new to me but are already on their fourth album so I'm a little annoyed that it has taken me this long to discover them because they are fabulous. New single 'Nervous System' is a blast of uplifting alt-pop with sublime vocal harmonies and melodies that will hook under your skin via your ears (not as painful as that sounds, I promise). If you're looking for the missing link between First Aid Kit and LadyHawke then you've just found it and the good news is that they have an extensive back catalogue to enjoy too.
