Things are on the up and up for Circa Waves and new single 'Never Going Under' is an electric new track that proves my point in case anyone wants to fight about it. Drums thunder with stadium filling energy, the bass rumbles like a plane about to take off and the guitars ping and zip with the kind of sound that you'd expect from the Killers in their pomp. In fact, this is as perfect a two minutes of indie-pop-rock as you're likely to find in 2023 and I'd urge you to get on board with Circa Waves if you haven't already because they're one of those hugely underrated bands that fully deserve to be getting heavier rotation on mainstream radio. So, go on then, what are you waiting for?
