THE VELVET HANDS - SINGLE REVIEW

The Velvet Hands - Telephone Love (Blood
Records)

Release Date: Out Now

The exciting new of a new album coming out in February next year has just dropped from Cornish indie upstarts the Velvet Hands and this latest single is a cheeky little taster ahead of its release. 'Telephone Love' kicks in like the Strokes in their early days but soon switches in to a more British sound with the Libertines coursing through their veins. The songwriting, energy and attitude are strong as ever from these lads but the exciting thing here is that the sound feels more rounded and each element of the band gets to take centre stage at some point and that has me convinced that this will be a live favourite before long.
