Lu Junk always puts the fun in funky on his tracks and new single 'Some Monkeys' is no exception. Lo-fi electro melodies and driving beats give this a Hot Chip meets early Daft Punk vibe that makes you want to ride around the city streets at night with everything sped up slightly. "I don't wanna be like some monkeys" is the call to arms chorus lyric and you can just imagine sweaty indie discos going ape to this one much like the protagonist in the ace accompanying video.
