Plymouth based artist Amber Jade Smith has created something truly atmospheric on new single 'Chains' which will give you chills and maybe the odd thrill. Dreamy, breathy vocals breeze gently over the sparse melody and punctuating beats like a vampiric presence sneaking in through an open window at night. There are elements of Kate Bush, Moloko, Goldfrapp and Shakespeare's Sister in this track but I feel like its natural home would be in a David Lynch directed film and that is a compliment, trust me.
