LOWLIFE - SINGLE REVIEW

Lowlife - Sometimes (Hellcat Records)

Release Date: Out Now

Lowlife might be a bunch of punk kids from Essex but if you'd told me this was a rare Beastie Boys or Sum 41 cut I would have had a hard time arguing with you. 'Sometimes' blends fuzzed up pop-grunge riffs and a bubbling bass line with hard hitting beats and gang vocals to die for. Then there's some Brit-rap, a Spanish guitar breakdown and the kind of vocal effects that make you think you should probably stop smoking. This is my first time hearing Lowlife but I'm already hooked and I definitely want to see them live.
