Huzzah! The might Wooze are back with new single 'Birthday' which they've dropped suspiciously close to my actual birthday so I am, of course, hugely flattered. This new track finds the enigmatic duo in typically bonkers form as their Roxy Music meets LCD Soundsystem garage-dance-rock vibe channels the spirit of Bowie ad-libbing at the birthday of a child star at the Playboy Mansion. Now, that might sound like a lot but then Wooze are a lot - the guitars are searingly sexy, the drums don't let up and the vocals ooze charm and sleaze in equal measure. There's a new EP on the way and a clutch of festival dates over the summer so get your glad-rags on and make some time for Wooze.
