WAR STRIPES - SINGLE REVIEW

War Stripes - Boris' House Party

Release Date: Out Now

You can always tell when a government is collapsing when the musicians start taking them on without any sense of metaphor or subtlety. Mancunian punks War Stripes hit the nail square on the head with their new single 'Boris' House Party' which takes on the outgoing Prime Minister with itchy, angry guitars and punchy drums that land a hit with every throw. As well as Boris, there are blows landed for Patel, Cummings, Prince Andrew and Allegra Stratton while the stand out lyric of "No respect for the NHS or the dead" is both inspired and grim in equal measure. More of this please - if now isn't the time to protest then when is?
