The superb Dublin collective M(h)aol are back with their typically dead-eyed new single 'Bored Of Men'. A mechanical beat churns away like a factory production line before the guitars clash and clatter like a drunk trying to negotiate a dark alley full of bins creating an unholy but undeniably brilliant noise. "I'm so bored of talking about men, look at the news, is it that time again?" is the repeated lyric that chimes the most with the way of the world right now and that abrasive post-punk sound really forces the point home. Hard.
