Operating from the south coast of the UK comes WYSE, a fresh and intriguing talent worth listening to. 'Belladonna' starts with a pulse and click combo that puts me in mind of Massive Attack but the rippling guitar notes are more Newton Faulkner or Jake Morley. If that combination doesn't grab your attention enough then the vocals should seal the deal as WYSE displays a versatility and distinctive tone far beyond her years. And then it explodes. The song actually explodes in to a Muse-esque rock romp with a younger Alison Moyet at the helm and it is glorious. Get some WYSE in your life, there's more to come and I think it's going to be quite the ride.
