I've enjoyed following the career of Jaguar Jonze through various releases but there is a very real sense on new single 'Punchline' that this is an artist who is reaching her pinnacle. Searing Kill Bill themed guitars get things going before the drums join in to keep the urgency going and then Jaguar Jonze brings her unique alt-pop vocal to the party with its steely cool vibes. When the chorus drops, the engery kicks up again with a Republica-esque sound that really gets in to your head and won't leave without a fight. But don't fight it, this is a party that you want to hang around at, trust me.
