What's that coming over the hill? Is it a monster? No, it's the Subways but they've come ready for a fight and they're packing riffs. 'You Kill My Cool' is a throbbing, roaring rock track which starts out like Audioslave before pulling out a whip-crack of a chorus featuring those trademark twin vocals. The drums sound stands out as being particularly Viking-sized and I haven't heard this much melody in a rock track since that first Rews album came out. You can't keep a good thing down and the Subways are a very good thing indeed.
