Essex teens Anorak Patch (great name, btw) have dropped their latest single 'Paris Will Be Paid For' ahead of their debut EP which comes out at the end of the month. Musically, this track has an itchy angularity to it that speaks of the awkwardness of youth but when the drums and guitars are woven together by the hypnotic lead vocal then it all makes sense. There are elements of Maximo Park, Young Knives, Sleeper and Dutch Uncles all milling about in here which is impressive enough but when you consider the tender years of these four, well, it fair knocks you off your feet.
