Westcountry rockers Reef tease their delayed album (bloody vinyl shortages) with another rollocking good single in the shape of 'Best Of Me'. As you might expect, this is stomping, thumping stuff as the kick drum beats out a steady rhythm, the guitars snarl in to life and Gary Stringer's hoary vocal roars out the opening line; "I've got lightning in my fingers, I've got thunder in my feet but you haven't seen the best of me". This is uplifting, inclusive, positive and spirited rock'n'roll which is exactly what we need right now and all I can say is God bless Reef for steering that course through all the shit in the world today.
