PIT PONY - SINGLE REVIEW

Pit Pony - Black Tar (Clue Records)

Release Date: Out Now

It's always exciting when Clue Records picks up a new signing for their roster and it's even more exciting when that act is Pit Pony. The Newcastle-upon-Tyne five piece are making 'Black Tar' their first release and it's a twitchy, angry and agitated slice of indie with a punk heart and art school sensibilities. If you imagine Maximo Park and the Long Blondes having a baby band in the North East and that baby goes to the US to travel for a year before coming home full of energy and more worldly wise then you're getting close to Pit Pony. And kudos on a vivid imagination....we should get a pint sometime.
