OCTOBER DRIFT - SINGLE REVIEW

October Drift - Insects

Release Date: Out Now

You can't beat a song that starts with moody bass line and October Drift's new release 'Insects' absolutely nails that opening with aplomb. As the drums, vocals and guitars join in (in that order), the song grows in to a grunge rock banger with energy that combines influences from the likes of Pixies, Placebo, Nirvana and Addict brilliantly. For a more contemporary reference point you could look at Sick Joy but there's a heavier edge and the wall of noise that these guys create is an absolute joy to behold on record so imagine how good that thundering bass line will feel in your rib cage when they play live.
