Malady are perhaps one of the most exciting bands I've heard in a long while based purely on listening to latest single 'Round the Bend'. The London four piece create a kind of indie-dub-rave sound with frantic beats, big bass sounds and ambient guitar notes creating a club vibe. Then they overlay a vocal that is calm to the point of being disinterested and it honestly sounds like the coming together of three different scenes in the most amazing way. This is the kind of collaboration that the Streets, Bloc Party and Gorillaz might come up with but it sounds way, way fresher and more energetic coming from Malady. Big things are coming, watch this space people.
