Junior - Long Way Home

Bedford's Junior is putting himself and his home town on the map with latest single 'Long Way Home' but he could be from New York and this would still stand out. A woozy and slightly uneven melody gets us going before the bass and beat gives Junior the rhythm the energy to get going. A unique flow on the verse is matched by a deathly choir chant on the chorus and the whole song takes on a dark and menacing tone but there's no malice here, Junior is all about the confidence and making tracks. I don't say this lightly but if the British Hip-Hop scene (at least) doesn't help Junior rise up to higher heights then a huge disjustice will have been done. And Bedford will be raging.
