Holy Coves are a band of brothers from Wales. 'The Hurt Within' has a dark and forboding energy. Low slung bass and guitar notes, driving drums and a blues-meets-preacher vocal performance give this track a Wild-West vibe that meanders in to psyche territory after taking a bad peyote trip. Think Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, the Clench and Super Furry Animals all collaborating after being holed up in a remote Welsh farmhouse for a month and you're getting close to the vibe. Close but no cigar...
