London punks goldenbloom pull zero punches on new single 'CHIN UP' which tackles toxic masculinity and flippent mental health advice. Churning guitars and pounding drums create the landscape for the IDLES meets Fontaines D.C. meets LIFE epic to play out in front of. The vocals are breathless, desperate and impassioned but that doesn't take away the tenderness from lines like "you can have a good old cry with me". Passion and anger but with a welcoming arm round the shoulder and sincerity in every word? Yeah, I'm definitely up for this. More please.
