I like to thin I bring you something a little different here at Listen With Monger and this collaboration between Fyfe and Iskra Strings is certainly something left of centre. 'Night Sky' is a pulsating and dramatic piece centred around some frantic violin playing and the building of a mood that is full of anticipation but tinged with trepidation. If you enjoy the music of Penguin Cafe, Ludovico Einadui or Above & Beyond then this will lift your spirits and soothe your soul as it has for me with a real sense of life, Spring and energy running throughout. I fully expect to hear this on a Brian Cox show in the near future and it will be absolutely perfect. Be prepared for goosebumps.
