Alabamans St. Paul & the Broken Bones have gone straight in to the 'favourite new bands' category with the release of this latest single. 'Minotaur' manages to mix prog, psyche and indie with soul, funk and the blues to devastating effect. This is one of those songs that is more than the some of its parts but there are a lot of parts to start with from the slithering, pinging guitars and rumbling rhythm section to the moody horns and stunning vocals.
