Quickly becoming one of my favourite finds of 2021 is indie-pop outfit Fickle Friends with new single 'Alone' pushing firmly beyond the 'friend zone' of bands. The perkiness of the melodies and the punchiness of the beats makes for an infectious tune and if you add in the cool, breathy vocals then you're on to a winner. There are elements of Kylie, Goldfrapp, Moloko and Dua Lipa but all with a little more bite and edge to make this one a more indie-club ready banger.
