'Love You To Death' takes a commonly used phrase to the extremes of interpretation and sets it to a funky indie-alt-pop melody that was made for dancing. The increasingly impressive Fickle Friends take a tight guitar line, breathy vocals and a snappy beat, throw in a cheeky melodic reference to Louise's 'Naked' (in my head, at least) and create the kind of song that will give you a spring in your step and big ol' smile. Be careful though, lyrics like "I can glue myself to every inch of your skin cos baby you're the only one" maybe misconstrued as being a bit stalkerish if you send this to your beau on a mixtape or playlist.
