A little lo-fi indie from Canada anyone? The Dill is the solo project of Dylan Hudecki and 'Lover Baby' is his latest release which sounds gorgeously like Jon Spencer jamming with Iggy Pop in the late morning as the heat starts to rise over the stoop. The bluesy guitars scratch and snarl, the drams rattle and roll, and the vocals have that classic Iggy drawl that makes this feel lazy and slacker inspired but juxtaposed with the itchy guitars, this song keeps you guessing. There's a fun video as well that looks like one of the extras from Bruno Mars' 'Lazy Song' video escaped from the set and went wondering around the back streets.
