Nothing says endless summer days like a little folk music so I thought I'd bring Belfast quartet Lonesome George to your attention. The four piece's new single, 'The Lying Devil', bobs and weaves with gentle subtlety as the soft rhythm beaten out on the bodhran is embellished with mandolin, guitar and whistle melodies. The vocals are appropriately soft and intimate making this a comforting and unobtrusive tune that washes over you like a summer breeze through the barley fields. Gorgeous stuff.
