I never stop being impressed by X Ambassadors and new single 'My Own Monster' just extends the love affair. Before we get to the music, I just want to draw your attention to the video which is incredible in its simplicity as lead singer Sam Harris dances with his shadow in classy black and white. Now, the soundtrack to this performance is a dark and moody melody but set to the kind of beat that makes you want to strut from your feet to your shoulders. The dark rumble of the bass notes pick out that mischeivious glint in the eye of Harris' shadow and it makes for some stylish but devilish fun.
