Essex rockers Nothing But Thieves are in fighting mood on new single 'Futureproof' which hits you hard, fast and without remorse. The doomy guitars and rumbling drums build the tension which, when added to the smooth vocals, put my in mind of Incubus or Muse in their full pomp. This is undeniably a rock record but the there is real pop nous to the melodies which will sell well on both sides of the pond and will work well as a cross over in to mainstream audiences as well. Blistering but oh so inviting.
