Canadian five-piece I, The Mountain have tapped in to that Lumineers space on new single 'Wildflowers' which is perfect for the early summer days. Gently jangling guitars and softly thumping drums build up to the choir-like chorus which asks the question, "how d'you get your hair smelling like wildflowers?". The obvious answer, of course, is a good shampoo which could lead this song to being used in a commercial setting for advertising purposes. In the meantime, this is a gentle and sweet song just concerned with conveying a very real and honest love and for that I, The Mountain should be applauded.
