FREYA BEER - SINGLE REVIEW

Freya Beer - The Calm Before The Storm
(Sisterhood Records)

Release Date: Out Now

The combination of thumping drums and Freya Beers clear-as-a-bell vocals that introduce new single 'The Calm Before The Storm' is an instantly engaging double act that hooks you right in. When the uber-fuzzy guitars and pumping bass join the song elevates in energy and power taking this in to alt-rock-pop territory. If Wednesday Adams grew up, spent a couple of years at Art School listening to the Long Blondes, the Velvet Underground and Florence + the Machine then it would probably look and sound a lot like this and that is a very good thing indeed.
