Malian artist Fatoumata Diawara has amassed a seriously impressive group of guests on the video for her latest single with the likes of Angelique Kidjo, Dianne Reeves, China Moses, Mayra Andrade and more joining in the fun on 'Ambe'. This is a song of togetherness written in light of the closing of borders during the first wave of the pandemic which, honestly, should be played every morning to school children around the world to remind them of what is really important in life. Musically, this is a relatively mellow tune with gorgeous rippling guitar notes and the kind of beat that makes you want to move your feet and hips in time. However, it is the range of beautiful voices singling in Creole, Zulu, English, Bambara and other dialects that makes this such a rich and enchanting listen.
