FICKLE FRIENDS - SINGLE REVIEW

Fickle Friends - Won't Hurt Myself

Release Date: Out Now

Alt-pop bangers don't come much more infectious and immediate than the new single from 'Fickle Friends' so brace yourself for falling in love with this one. Hard. 'Won't Hurt Myself' starts with a verse full of nervous and uncertain energy based around a jittery, itchy melody that almost stutters through to the chorus. The mood explodes, however, when the guitars kick in, the self-empowerment bursts from the vocals and the drums get to really let loose. This is the kind of song that was made to have crowds of happy and free people bouncing along to it in the sunshine with drinks flying in all directions when the chorus kicks in.
