Liverpudlian quartet might just have summed up the British summer on new single 'Ice Cream' so I'm going to go right ahead and suggest you add this to your Summer Bangers playlist. With the raw swagger of early Arctic Monkeys and the driving force of the Pigeon Detectives, 'Ice Cream' paints a picture of changeable weather, pints, running for cover, holiday romance and "A 99 with sprinkles please". The rolling guitars and shimmying guitars are gloriously matched by the crooner-meets-chanting vocals to make this a the musical equivalent of a night out that starts with romantic ambitions but ends with drunken karaoke and chips on the last bus home.
