Sexy Swedish duo Moodblanc are
back for the new year with new single, ‘Not the One’ – presumably an ode to the
omnishambles that was 2020. The moody keys and hushed vocals that introduce
this track, however, suggest that Moodblanc want one more night with the object
of their previous love as this track is as sultry as it is heartbroken. There are
80s vibes scattered throughout this one from the Chic-esque to the furiously
slapped bass strings and crisp piano stabs but Moodblanc still manage to feel
utterly contemporary and entirely for some mainstream radio play.
