Badcore Horns – President Evil

It is unusual, to say the least,
to release a single on Christmas Day but, then again, Badcore Horns are not
your usual band and their new single, ‘President Evil’, is not your usual tune.
This trio mix drums’n’brass to create the kind of tune that would have a rave
going off its tits if they weren’t exceedingly illegal right now but still manage
to draw comparisons with the likes of Prodigy, Black Futures, Goose and LCD
Soundsystem – all at their most aggressive. The deep sax bass, the shrill stabs
of double trumpet and that unforgiving beat are just begging to be played out of
loud speakers, megaphones and portable amps to drown out the sound of the orange
baby as makes his final speech next week – won’t you join me?
