I’m increasingly impressed by
Manchester based Hayes & Y. The Bulgarian and Finnish outfit are making a real
name for themselves on the British scene and that will only be helped by their
new single ‘All Pressure/No Pleasure’. The driving, pulsing synth melodies and
slick melodies give this both a retro and contemporary feel as the track builds
to the kind of euphoric, hands in the air party banger that we’re all going to
need this summer. Think Delphic meets Years & Years and you’d be in the
right ball park but I’d recommend giving this one a good listening to.
